If my ship wants to make a call at the port, how do I go about it ? | ||
You need to serve 36 hours advance notice to the port informing of the scheduled arrival of your ship in the form of Appendix A. For berthing of vessel, you need to submit application for berth in the form of Appendix C. The manifest and other details on cargo to be discharged are to be provided. For working of vessel, you need to submit duly completed Application For Working Of Vessel form. Finally, before works are to commence, the ship needs to be cleared by the relevant authorities such as Port Health, Immigration and Customs Departments. |

If I want to apply for Security Pass, what is the procedure for such application ? |
||
Bring along two couloured identity card size photographs to the Security service counter. Fill in the application form for Personal Security Entry Pass and pay RM6.00 for a yearly pass. Three-year pass of RM18.00 is allowed. Bring along your company chop for stamping the application form. Pass is processed and issued instantly. |

If I want to apply for lorry or vehicle pass how do I go about it ? |

Bring along a photostat copy of the carrier's permit for a public carrier or private career permit or the controlled permit for privately owned vehicle to the Security service counter. Fill in the application form for Vehicle Security Entry Pass. Bring along your company chop for stamping the application form. Pay RM15.00 for a yearly pass. Pass is processed and issued instantly. |

Do you welcome outsiders and general public to visit the port ? |

Yes, but subject to prior approval and availability of personnel to provide the briefing and guide. The security and safety rules are to be strictly followed during the visit to ensure that no untoward incidents will take place. |
